In the idea, there are thousands of languages for understanding. Your creativity is a universal language of communication with the world. Your works should inspire.

Contest Works Requirements

Each category has unique requirements

"IN THE SPOTLIGHT"

Is there an issue you can’t let go of? Social injustice, environmental problems, human rights, war, or anything else you believe must be changed right now? In this category, you have the chance to show it in a way that the audience cannot remain indifferent.

The main goal is not just to point out the problem but to give it a face, emotion, and story — and, importantly, to offer a vision for a solution or at least an idea that will inspire people to act. It can be serious, humorous, or even an artistic experiment — as long as it’s clear that you truly care.

Formats:

  • Social video (30–90 seconds);

  • Short film (up to 3 minutes);

  • Video interview or report;

  • Animation or video collage with voiceover;

  • Photo story or presentation with video and commentary.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Originality of concept and presentation;

  • Emotional impact and audience engagement;

  • Clarity and logic of storytelling;

  • Image and editing quality;

  • Presence of an action proposal or solution.

"MY CITY"

A city is not just streets and buildings — it’s a living organism with its own character and soul. In this category, explore how you envision its future: neighborhoods, infrastructure, lifestyle, safety, and resilience.

Show how history, architecture, notable residents, current events, traditions, and even cuisine shape the city’s unique image today and in the future. It can be a serious research project or a creative visual journey — the key is to let the audience feel the “soul” of your city.

Formats:

  • Video tour or mini-documentary (up to 4 minutes);

  • Photo essay or series of reportage photos;

  • Presentation with video and commentary (up to 15 slides);

  • Interviews with residents;

  • Urban sketch or animation.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Completeness and depth of research;

  • Conveying the city’s uniqueness and image;

  • Originality of ideas and details;

  • Image, editing, and composition quality;

  • Emotionality and authenticity.

“FUTURE ME LOOK”

Imagine you’re both a stylist and a futurist. Explore how clothing and style tell stories about people and eras, then create your own look from the 90s, the year 2050, or any other time.

You can mix eras, experiment with technologies, and create images using AI. The key is to keep your true self and values at the center — even when fashion changes.

Formats:

  • Fashion film or runway video;

  • Styled photo set or show;

  • Digital collage with AI;

  • Video mix with reconstructions of styles from different eras.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Originality of concept and look;

  • Conveying personality and identity;

  • Technical execution quality;

  • Creativity in combining style and content;

  • Visual impact.

“I_AMUNIVERSE”

Your world is made not only of you but also of the people around you. Show how others see you — and how you see kindred spirits, your generation, humanity, or even an entire civilization.

Capture moments of friendship, support, shared victories, or situations that energize your universe. Let the audience see that your universe is you and the people without whom it would be entirely different.

Formats:

  • “Trailer of a film about yourself”;

  • Documentary short (3–5 minutes);

  • Video collage of memories and conversations;

  • Video diary;

  • Staged scene or multimedia collage.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Sincerity and depth of the theme’s exploration;

  • Emotional effect and audience engagement;

  • Creativity and visual expressiveness;

  • Integrity and structure of the work;

  • Conveying the connection between a person and their environment.

All contest works must be submitted electronically (or as a link for viewing) to the organizers.

"THE FORMULA OF HAPPINESS"

Happiness can be felt — but can it be described and shown? In this category, you create your own “museum of happiness” — several “halls,” each revealing a different side of the topic.

It may include personal stories, observations, conversations with others, and cultural or scientific comparisons. Create your work so that after seeing it, the audience will want to form their own formula for happiness.

Formats:

  • Documentary short film (3–5 minutes);

  • Video essay or video collage;

  • Multimedia presentation;

  • Animation;

  • Photo essay or photo project.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Originality of idea and metaphors;

  • Depth and richness of content;

  • Emotional impact;

  • Quality of visual and sound design;

  • Ability to inspire and provoke thought.

All works submitted to the competition will not be reviewed or returned.

Publications of the works sent to the competition is done with the consent of the authors. The organisers reserve the right to mention the works and quote their statements in the context of the competition during the project season.
